Nature's Guide Lava Sand is a rock material used in landscaping and as a soil amendment. It is an excellent high-energy soil amendment. Lava sand helps make the nutrients in the soil more available to the plant roots, plus it increases the water holding capacity of the soil, while separating clay particles. Nature's Guide Lava Sand can be applied to all turf grasses and plants and will not burn.
