For Shrubs and Trees:
Established shrubs: In early spring spread 3 lbs, per 100 sq. ft. of bed area, or for individual shrubs use 8 oz. per plant. For best results incorporate into the top 1-2 inches of soil and water thoroughly.
Established Trees: Broadcast 1 lb, per 1" of tree diameter from the truck to the drip line of the tree.
Tree and Shrub Transplanting: Blend 1/2 cup per foot of plant height into the soil in the bottom of the hole. Mix thoroughly with the soil, fill the hole, and water thoroughly.
For Annual and Perennial flowers: broadcast 2 lbs. per 100 sq. ft. of bed area, lightly incorporate into the soil, and water thoroughly.
For Roses: Apply 2-3 lbs. per 100 sq. ft. of bed area, or for individual plants apply 4 oz. per plant, work into the soil, and water thoroughly.
For Gardens and Vegetables: Lightly top dress at seeding or planting at a rate of 3 lbs. per 100 sq. ft. or 1 teaspoon per plant, lightly incorporate into the soil, and water in thoroughly.
For Turf: Apply 1 lb. per 100 sq. ft. and water in. Repeat as soil becomes phosphorus deficient.
