ANTidote 3-N-1 contains beneficial nematodes which have been cultured to hunt, seek, and destroy fire ants, fleas, flies, white grubs, and other soil borne pests. Won't harm beneficial insects. Research has shown ANTidote to be the natural predator of beet army worms, black cut worms, cabbage maggots, cucumber beetles, fruit flies, fungus gnats, humpbacked flies, leaf miners, onion maggots, plant parasitic nematodes, raspberry crown borers, shore flies, and tobacco cutworms.
One package will treat approx.30,000 sq. ft. as a topical application or 1/2 to 1 acre for fire ant infestation.
You can expect fire ant field mounds to die out in 2 to 3 weeks, but it may take up to 2 months for colonies around trees to die out.
Flea infestations die out in 5 to 10 days.

SHIPPING NOTE: Since the nematodes need to be kept cool (dormant) until applied to the soil, shipment will be via FedEx Overnight. Shipping will cost more than the shipping cost calculated by this website, which calculates everything via FedEx Ground (3-4 days). After receiving the package, you should keep the nematodes in the refrigerator until you are ready to apply them (DO NOT FREEZE). Also, we ship all live insects only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This is to prevent them from laying over in a warehouse over the week-end in case of mishandling during shipment.
