How it works:
As the Ooze Tube(TM) empties, the water level in the bag drops very gradually. As the water level drops, the inlet pressure on the drip emitter also drops proportionately. This gradual reduction in pressure causes the drip emitter to very gradually wean the tree off water and encourages the tree to send out more roots. Our engineers have affectionately named this principle as "Parabolic Water Weaning". Refilling the tube, before the tree goes into stress, makes the tree think it has rained and the process starts all over again.

For best results, thoroughly water in your new tree planting to remove any air pockets in the soil. While it isn't absolutely necessary, it is also best to cover the root ball with 2-4" of mulch before installing your Ooze Tube®.
